Great article, thanks for sharing. I envy my 17th century compatriots who had the 'new world' to escape to with like-minded people from their domestic persecution. Where do we have to go today? Is there any chance for forming new communities within our nation's and hope we would be left alone, or do we find somewhere further afield to flee to?
Yes, there is nowhere to escape to. And there is no cavalry coming over the ridge. We have to be our own cavalry and do the painstaking work of restoring genuinely liberal institutions ...
